Montgomery Presbyterian Chapel
The MONTGOMERY PRESBYTERIAN CHAPEL belongs to the English
speaking section of the Presbyterian Church of Wales.
It is the only Non-Conformist Church in the Town and is situated towards the lower end of Princess Street. Regular services are held in the Chapel, and other activities take place in the recently converted Upper Room and kitchen.
Since its foundation the congregation here has sought to glorify God, spread the Good News of a loving Saviour and serve the community in His Name.
A warm welcome awaits all who
would like to join our Sunday Morning Worship at 11.15am. As well as our own Minister we have a number of visiting Ministers and Lay Preachers who conduct our services. Once a month a Communion Service is held in rotation in one of the other Presbyterian churches of our Pastorate at 10.30am led by our Minister. A Bible Study is held on Tuesdays at 10.30am during term-time and an informal Fellowship on the second Thursday of the month at 2.30pm.
The Chapel is also open between 10.00 and 12.30 on the first
and third Thursdays of the month for a quiet time of reflection or as an opportunity for quiet sharing. Dates, times and venues are always available on the chapel notice board, but to avoid disappointment and to get more detail we strongly recommend that you check with the current copy of the town magazine where there is a regular updated page about the Chapel. You can access this on line by clicking the link with ‘The Crier’ on this website.
