Montgomery Town council is seeking a Town Operative

The Town Council is seeking an experienced and conscientious person to support the council in key areas in and around Montgomery. The post is a fixed term contract for 1 year in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent. The employee will work for a minimum of 14 hours a week, at a salary of £17,143, pro rata, the equivalent of £8.91 per hour.

The person appointed will have experience of maintenance and cleaning, together with the ability to work anti - social hours, and the ability to work with a range of people, including councillors, traders and the public.
